JIM GOES BACK TO SCHOOL....WOW!

We suppose that Jim didn't have enough schooling, so in retirement he decided to go back to school...to get his California Teaching Credential...who would believe. He will complete this in one Semester (if they don't throw him out)...and will teach? Who knows. But now that he already has his trophy for golf, and a 300 in bowling doesn't appear feasible, this seemed to be a better option than golfing and swimming all day. Who knows, he might even learn something. In the picture with Jim is Dennis Larney, one of his two instructors. Dennis believes there may still be hope for him as a teacher -- but only time will tell

SARI SPENDS A BUSY DAY WITH GRAND AND GREAT GRAND KIDS

Sari's grandson Jason, his wife Anne and their two kids (Sari's great grandkids) Jordan and Nathan came for a visit on a beautiful Saturday in the Desert. They went shopping, ate, played the Sun City 18 hold putting course and had a wonderful day together. Jim joined them for dinner at Sammy's at the Garden on El Paso.

THATS ENTERTAINMENT! SOME BIG SHOWS

Sari and Jim have enjoyed a series of live shows over the past two months that has be unbelievable. Not only have we enjoyed afternoon Jazz at Vickey's and the Living Desert, but we have seen a series of shows at Sun City which have included: Hal Linden, Charo, and others. But at the top of our list has been shows at the MacCallum. This started with a wonderful night with Johnny Mathis, followed by the Billy Joel show "Movin On" and the current "ABBA" group. But the Show with Steve Tyrell on February 21st was a knockout. Not only was the show a smash, but we sat right behind....you guessed it -- Keeley Smith, Sari's absolute favorite singer. They had a chance to talk for a minute, and Sari was stoked. What a night. The picture here was taken right after that show.
