THE FINAL LEG OF OUR TRIP: FLYING ON A JET PLANE

For the last 3 days of our trip to Tampa, we had the opportunity to go to the Breeders Cup Races in Kentucky with John and Susan Sykes on Johns beautiful Gulfstream. We mets some great people on the plane and some more wonderful folks in Lexington at Johns Breeding Ranch and at the Cup Races in Louisville. What a fantastic trip

VISITING CAROL AND BOB ABER IN PUNTO GORDO

Punto Guordo is only and hour drive from Bradenton, so we took a day trip to visit Karol and Bob,have lunch and see some of Karols beautiful art work. A really fun day with some great people.

SARI AND JIM VISIT THE NEW CARLSON MANSION IN BRADENTON

Tawnya, John and Family recently departed from the left coast and moved to Bradenton, Florida so the kids could attend golf school at IMG...they also loved the area and all are integrating quickly. Sari and I visited them in November...a great trip.

SARI AND JIM SPEND A GREAT WEEKEND WITH RIC AND BRYCE AND KAK

A big weekend -- with Ric and his son Bryce visiting on Friday, then Ken, Araya and Kyra came on Saturday and Sunday. A lot of fun

SARI AND JIM DO THE UTAH PARKS -- ZION, BRYCE, GRAND

Sari and Jim had a great trip to the Utah Parks -- flying to Salt Lake, then driving down to Zion, Bryce and Grand....a wonderful adventure, despite a little trouble with the altitude.

KATY IS HAVING A BABY AND SARI GOES TO THE SHOWER

Sari's grand-daughter Katy Kingston had a baby shower and all the girls were there...lotsa fun

SARI AND JIM DO THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL AND MEYER'S BIRTHDAY PARTY IN LOS ANGELES

Sari and Jim spent a terrific two days....first at the Hollywood Bowl Beatles concert which featured Helen and Ira's son Rob. The next day was Meyer Nugit's birthday party. Meyer and the guests at the party are long time friends of Sari. So there were a lot of hugs and rememberances

SARI AND JIM ENJOY A SPARKLING 4TH OF JULY IN LA JOLLA

Sari and Jim had a terrific 4th of July outing with Jim's kids and grandkids in La Jolla. Lots of good food and walks on the beach highlighted the 3 days together.

SUNSET DINNER AT CLASSIC WITH PAMELA AND JOHN ABRAMSON

Sari and Jim had a wonderful night out with two good friends, Pamela and John Abramson at the Classic Club.

JIM'S COUSIN RAMONA CELEBRATES 90 YEARS

Jim and Sari attended a large 90th birthday party for Jim's cousin Ramona in Anaheim. She's a wonderful lady and deserved the crowd of over 60 people.

CELEBRATING HELEN VARON'S BIRTHDAY

Sari, Lorna and Mryna celebrated Helen's birthday at the Pacifica Restaurant in Palm Desert...a great gabfest.

KYRA AND TYLER GRADUATE TO MIDDLE SCHOOL

Sari and Jim had a great time attending the graduation of two of Jim's grandchildren to Middle School. Kyra moved up to Middle School in La Jolla and Tyler to Middle School in Bradenton, Florida, where the family just moved. Their graduations were a lot of fun, and all of the kids in the school were wonderful.

SARI AND JIM'S NEW YORK ADVENTURE

Jim and Sari spent a wonderful week in New York City at the end of May. We stayed at the beautiful Princeton Club, right in the heart of Times Square -- and visited Rockerfeller Center/Radio City Music Hall, got on the Today Show, saw two Broadway Shows: La Cage aux folles and South Pacific, Washington Square, Lower Manhatten and ground Zero, spent a day in CT with Jim's old friends Don and Suzanne Harris, had dinner at the Algonquin with Sari's old friends Joe and Phyllis Raymond who drove in from New Jersey to see us. All in all it was a wonderful week (albeit a few blips), and we look forward to doing the Jersey side next year.

BOWLING PARTY FOR 2009-10

Sari and Jim attended the 2009-10 Bowling dinner and had a great time besides winning some unsuspecting rewards: Jim, who has never won a bowling competition in his life, won the trophy for the "Best Series" -- a 722 (I didn't even know I did it). But most importantly, Sari's team won the reknown "Last Place Team Trophy" a real honor, and a neat trophy. Both trophy's are now being displayed in our Sports Rooms.

SARI'S GIRLFRIENDS GIVE HER A SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY

"Surprise"!!! Sari was just going to lunch at the Cuistot Restaurant...but alas, it was a set-up. Six other girls were already at the restaurant and joined in a surprise birthday party. A lot of good girl talk and renewed friendship. Aren't bithday parties wonderful?

BIG BIRTHDAY BASH FOR KYRA, TYLER AND JIM AT SARI'S HOUSE

In the middle of May, Sari put on a spectacular birthday party at her beautiful home for Kyra, Jim and Tyler. We had 3 cakes, some great food and good fun for both the kids and adults during the day. Everyone was there (except Brad who lives in VA) -- Ken, Araya and Kyra; Mike, Laurie, Madison and Meridian; and John, Tawnya, Tyler and Rachel (Remec was still in school in Florida). It was a day we will never forget


We celebrated birthday's for Kyra, Tyler and Jim. We had good food and cake for all...plus hoola hoops and lots of good fun. A really great day
