SARI ATTENDS THE TRIM AND TONE LADIES LUNCHEON

Sari attended the Trim and Tone ladies Christmas lunch and had a great time. Jim missed it, shucks.

SARI AND JIM WATCH TYLER IN JR. PGA TOURNAMENT

Sari and Jim went to Banning on a freezing cold Saturday afternoon to watch Jim's grandson Tyler in a Jr. PGA tournament. Tyler came in 3rd. Good job Tyler!

SARI AND JIM'S TRIM AND TONE XMAS PARTY AT THE MISSION INN

Sari and Jim drove to Riverside for the Trim and Tone Party which included shopping and a big Mexican dinner at the Mission Inn. Forty women plus Jim. You really enjoyed it didn't you Jim?

The next day after Halloween, Sari and Jim drove to Santa Margarita to visit Sari's son Ric who was transferred from Camarillo with his company. We had breakfast with Ric and Lou, and then decided to drive to San Clemente where we enjoyed a great seafood lunch and walked along the pier. What a beautiful day...and place.

TRICK AND TREATING ON "HALLOWEEN"

After spending the afternoon in Old Town Temecula, Sari and Jim joined Laurie, Mike,Madison, Meridian and Lauries Mom together with aout 15 of the girls friends on a "Trick or Treating" jaunt through about 5 blocks by the Hill's house in Temecula. We had a wonderful time, along with some Chili and other treats. Ah youth.

JOHN AND SUSAN SYKES "FLY IN" TO VISIT SARI AND JIM

John and Susan Sykes flew in from Tampa (via San Diego)on their new Gulfstream to visit briefly with Sari and Jim. It was a wonderful visit from a terrific couple. Hopefully we can get together again soon.

JIM'S GUARDIAN ANGLES COME FOR A VISIT

Marilee and Ed Fisher who were resposible for saving Jim from drowning in 2004 came down from Vancouver, Canada for their first stay in the desert since that event. It was really great seeing and being with them again...a wonderful and caring couple.

AT VICKY'S WITH THE LIEBERMAN'S

Sari and Jim celebrated their renewel of winter jazz a Vicky's with Tom and LuAnn Lieberman. Good music, good day

PINK EL PASEO WALK FOR BREAST CANCER

Sari and Jim participated in the Pink Walk for Breast Cancer on El Paseo. Sari celebrated 23 years free from breast cancer and received a bead necklace for each of those years. It was a beautiful day, and we walked about 3 miles.

SARI AND JIM HAVE A TERRIFIC OVERNIGHTER IN OCEANSIDE

Sari and Jim took a weekend trip to Oceanside to have a little beach time. The weather was beautiful and we stayed at beautiful Marriott. We had a wonderful dinner at a neat Mexican restaurant and breakfast with Cherry and Orville Kelman before we left.

Everyone had a great time at Bing Crosby's as we celebrated Helen's birthday.

Sari and Jim had a fun overnighter in Big Bear. Weather was great.

VISITORS FROM JAPAN

Sari and Jim had a visit from two Japanese: Tee Kuboki with Front Line Inc., and Shogo Itoku, withHakuhodo DY Media Partners who interviewed us regarding the involvement of U.S. Senior Citizens in the Media (internet, radio, TV, etc.) and how this coincided with their lifestyle. The discussion lasted for about 2 hours and was extremely interesting.

SARI'S SON'S RIC AND BRUCE VISIT

Sari's two sons Ric came from Camerillo and Bruce from Las Vegas to see their Mom here in Sun City. While having lunch, who should the run into but their coach from
Birmingham High School Hy Cohen who lives here in Sun City. It was a big surprise and made a wonderful visit even more wonderful.

SARI'S BROTHER JOE'S 94TH BIRTHDAY PARTY

Sari's brother Joe was Chief of Staff at Cedar Sanai hospital for 30 years in Anesthesia. Also in attendence at his birthday party was his daughter Linda and son Stan. Happy Birthday Joe

OUR FIRST ANNIVERSARY!!

Sari and Jim celebrated their First Anniversary at the Hog's Breath Restaurant in La Quinta -- the site of their first date. We talked about what a wonderful year this has been and how fortunate we were to find each other. We are blessed.

Jim and Sari visited and had lunch with Jim's daughter Tawnya and his Grandkids Tyler and Rachel. Unfortunately Remec left the day before for Golf School in Florida, so Mom was pretty sad. We had a great time though

MARC KINGSTON'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

Sari and Jim were able to visit many of her Kingston grandchildren at Marc's birthday party in SImi Valley. Was a fun day

MYERS BIRTHDAY BASH

Helen and Ira Laufer celebrated Myer .....birthday with a dinner party at their house. Enjoying the great dinner that Helen and Ira prepared were Sari and Jim,the guest of honor Myer with his wife Miriam,and Lana and Sid Schoven

Sari and Jim had dinner with Bob and Peggy McPeake then visited their lovely home afterward

MOST IMPORTANT -- WE MET WITH OLD FRIENDS

During our visit, we met with old friends, Len and Alene Russon; Jim's fraternity brothers Bob Haight and his wife Dorothy and Don Kenyon and his wife Carol. We also had a chance to have dinner with Jim's cousin Katy; and during our visit to Park City we spent time with Sari's old friends, Lee and Harold Weinstein. This was the best part of the trip.

JIM AND SARI'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE -- TO UTAH

It all started at Palm Springs Airport..where Sari just happened to bump into Mary Bono (who would believe). After arrival in Salt Lake, we went to the Alta Club where we stayed for the week....a great place with great service

JIM'S KIDS VISIT FROM TOKYO AND TEMECULA

Jim's son's Ken and his wife Araya and Mike and his wife Laurie -- and Jim's 3 wonderful grand-daughters Madison, Meridian and Kyra visit with Jim and Sari in Palm Desert for a full week at the end of July. At the start of the week, we celebrated Ken's 50th birthday and California Pizza. Then Sari painted the girls fingernails -- what a treat. The final day was spent at the Swimming Pool (where else). The week was really terrific for all of us

SARI AND JIM'S SPECTACULAR GETAWAY

Sari and Jim had a great "getaway" from the Palm Desert heat on July 18 and 19. After a great day at Salt Creek Beach, we had a wonderful dinner at the Waters in Irvine. A very romantic time.

LUNCH WITH TONY AND CAROL

Jim and Sari met Carol and Tony Fiore at the Laguna Hotel for Lunch during our getaway on July 19. Some reminising by Tony and Jim about the old W-L days, but most of the time was spent about taking about the new things we are doing. It was a great time.
